David Manzanares is an Indigenous Oaxacan artist, sculptor, and muralist based in Omaha, Nebraska. His public art and sculptural practice explores migration, belonging, Indigenous worldviews, and the relationship between people, land, memory, and the visible and unseen worlds.

Rooted in community engagement, his work brings personal and collective stories into public space, creating visibility and connection while honoring the knowledge, histories, and cultural traditions that communities carry with them.
